Shape Jump is Myers’ main mobility. In it he is faster, unseen, and can phase through doors, windows, and fences. Shape Dash is a lunge from that state.
Hard limits from official copy and IGN’s interview: he cannot enter or exit Shape Jump in direct light or in a civilian’s line of sight. Smart civilians run light to light. Developers tied the rule to Carpenter: darkness is how he moves.
