Story challenges fail if you kill named people too early. Prologue 6 is kill or drive away every orderly, about twelve, including ones that spawn back at the start. Do Challenge 5 on a separate stealth run. Chapter 4 at Wallace House follows 1978: hide in Annie's car, fully stalk Bob and Lynda first, pin Bob to the kitchen wall, then kill Lynda with the telephone while wearing the Sheet.

What is confirmed

This is not a room-by-room campaign dump. Each chapter has six optional challenges. Completing an aggressive one can lock a stealth one on that same run.

Prologue (Escape from Smith’s Grove). Challenge 6 is kill or drive away every orderly before you escape. Player guides count about twelve. Some spawn or rush back toward the opening gate after the first kill; you have to loop back. Driven-off orderlies can still count. Challenge 5 is finish the chapter without alerting any orderly. Do 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 on a messy run, then replay the Prologue clean for 5.

Chapter 4 (The Babysitters). Wallace House follows the 1978 plot. Rushing a named kill closes that challenge for the run.

Annie: Let her finish the laundry and drop-off routine. When she goes back inside, hide in the car. She sits, the strangle counts. Killing her in the yard does not.
Bob and Lynda: Fully stalk both while they are still together. Then pin Bob to the kitchen wall at stalk level 3. Wear the Sheet, stalk Lynda to level 3, and use the telephone.
Spare resident: One challenge wants a Bloodthirsty execution on someone who is not Bob or Lynda. Do that before you spend Bob.
Film plot: Attack the dog, lock Annie in the laundry, then the car, then Bob and Lynda in that movie order. When Laurie becomes the chase, do not go back to repair an earlier window.

Chapter 1 through 3 challenges are environmental kills on the road to Haddonfield. They are less timing-locked than Chapter 4.

A published official list of every challenge reward. Exact spawn times for the extra Prologue orderlies. Whether Challenge 6 still completes if one orderly despawns off-map. Chapter 2 and 3 full tables beyond player reports.

Frequently asked questions

Why won’t prologue challenge 6 complete?

You missed an orderly who spawned back at the start after the first kill. Loop to the opening gate before you extract. Driven-off orderlies can count; a clean stealth run will not finish this one.

How do you strangle Annie in the car?

Wait out her routine. When she steps back inside the Wallace house, hide in the car. She sits and the strangle fires. Grabbing her in the yard or kitchen fails the challenge for that run.
